Ziaja'a New Manuka Range - Face Care Products for Oily/Combination Skin

Ziaja have very recently launched a new skincare range called Manuka. The Manuka Tree Purifying range like all their other lines of skincare is incredibly affordable with products ranging from €4.49 up to €6.99.

The new range is targeted for people with oily/combination skin who suffer from an oily t-zone, dilated pores, blackheads, minor spots, acne breakouts and shine control. The new face care products get their name from the star ingredient, Manuka leaf extract. It's contains powerful antibacterial properties which make it perfect for soothing irritation, eliminating bacteria and cleansing the skin.

The range consists of a Normalising day cream €6.99, a gently exfoliating night cream €6.99, a deeply cleansing peeling paste €4.49, a Astringent face toner €4.49 and a normalising cleansing gel €4.49. I myself have dry skin so taking that on bored I tested out the cleansing peeling paste and the face toner.

Ziaja Manuka Tree Purifying Deeply Cleansing Peeling Paste €4.99
Despite what the name might suggest this is essentially a ex-foliating facial wash.
Directions: Massage onto damp face and rinse off. Use once a week.
A little goes a long way with this product. I found the exfoliating beads to be absolutely perfect for my face. Not too abrasive, just the right amount to unblock my pores and leave my skin feeling fresh. Perfect for removing dead skin cells and perfect preparation before you complete the rest of your daily skincare routine. As it is directed for oily/combination skin and I have dry skin I feel it's worth mentioning that this product didn't dry my skin out. Make sure to apply a suitable moisturiser directly after applying products like this to your face.

Pleas note that this is not a peel off mask. They mention Peeling paste in the title because this product removes dead skin cells and it also resembles the consistency of toothpaste.

The purpose of this face toner is to reduce the appearance of porous areas, sooth acne breakouts and also improve blemishes.
Directions: Apply with cotton pad over cleansed skin. Use daily.
Firstly I just want to say this product worked best for me when I spritzed the solution straight onto my face and then used a cotton pad to lightly dab around the different areas of my face. I enjoyed this product because the mist was so gentle and it felt nice and light on my skin. Great skin preparation for your favourite daily moisturiser.

All the products in this range smell the same and the scent is nice and refreshing. It's the kind of scent you would associate with a freshly cleaned face if that makes any sense.

I would recommend this range to teenagers suffering from breakouts and women of all ages who have oily/combination skin. If like me and you have dry skin and love a good facial exfoliant please try out the Deeply Cleansing Peeling Paste. I haven't tried anything like it since Soap & Glory's No Clogs Allowed and that costs €15. Great quality for an even better price.

Have you tried out any of the Ziaja skincare ranges yet?

Love,
Sarah

Aussie Miracle Moist and Mega Shampoo & Conditioner Dupes - Head to Aldi

I was flicking through the Aldi special buys magazine today and was intrigued and delighted to see that next Thursday the 29th May Aldi are launching some new Shampoo's and Conditioner's that strikes an uncanny resemblance to the Aussie hair care range which I absolutely love. The products are packaged the same and they have very similar ingredients except this hair care range goes by the name of Carino and costs a fraction of the price.

The Carino Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner contain Australian Macadamia Nut which helps to condition and smooth your hair JUST like the Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo and conditioner. I'm wondering will I get the same healthy nourished feeling for my locks for the unbeatable price of €2.49.

I'm also interested in the Carino Mighty Shampoo and Conditioner which contains a similar ingredient to the Aussie Mega shampoo and conditioner. Kangaroo Paw flower adds life and shine to dull hair giving you that bounce that we all love. Again at just €2.49 a bottle Thursday can't come round quick enough.

What do you think? I have high hopes and can't wait to try them out. These are subject to availability and when they are gone, they're gone as Aldi says. Aussie prices are from Boots and I worked out a total savings of €18.90 when sticking with the Carino brand. That's a nice little round of cocktails right there ladies!

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to share this with your friends.

Love,
Sarah

IRISH BLOGGERS TAKING OVER YOUTUBE

I've noticed an increase of wonderful bloggers here in Ireland deciding to join the exciting world of YouTube. I myself started making videos on YouTube three years ago before I started to blog. I thought it would be fun to mention some of my favourite Irish bloggers who have now turned into YouTubers. Mostly new to vlogging otherwise it would be one long post!

Kat - Dolly Rouge
I was so thrilled to see Kat over on YouTube doing chatty beauty related videos because Dolly Rouge which is run by Kat and Rachelle is one of my favourite Irish blogs. I enjoyed Kat's Curlformers tutorial, she put a lot of effort into it and provided a great review for people thinking about purchasing this product.

Karen & Joanne -LovelyGirlieBits
I have always been a fan of Karen and Joanne for the brilliant review posts. They do the best before and after shots over on their blog LovelyGirlieBits. So clear and you really get a feel for the product they're taking about. When they started making videos it was fun from the word go. They aren't afraid to be themselves which is refreshing!

Emma - FluffandFripperies
Emma blogs about fashion and beauty, she's such a lovely person you kinda wish you could be her best friend! It was only a matter of time before she joined Youtube to share her wisdom on all things beauty. She really knows what she's talking about and is a natural on front of the camera.

Dee & Sinead - Viva Adonis
Dee and Sinead are fantastic bloggers. These life long friends really make a great team on their blog and Youtube channel. They have a real passion for beauty and are always on the ball with current trends and must have products.

Mags - Emerald Eyeliner Blog
Mags is great fun and I'm so glad to see her videos pop up in my subscriptions. Iv'e had the pleasure of meeting her a few times and she always puts a smile on my face. She does great haul and favourite's videos so check them out.

These are just a few of my favourite Irish bloggers turned vloggers. I have many more but just wanted to take the time and share some newcomers with you.

Who are your favourites? Tell me in the comments below.

Sarah

Casual Spring Outfit - Beaming Buttercup

Hands up who's loving the sunny weather at the moment! I love early spring because I start living in dresses again. I wore this yellow buttercup dress from Dorothy Perkins over the weekend and boy did it feel good. I paired it with stretch denim leggings from Penneys and a navy lace blazer from Next. The dress itself is a little too short for me to wear with bare legs just at the moment so I like to wear leggings or skinny jeans underneath. It's sleeveless with buttercup print and open back detail. I adore this blazer from next and I'm kicking myself that I didn't get it in other colours when it was in store. Sunny weather make us feel happier and I think bright clothes do too. What do you think? Can clothes change the way we feel?

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend and look forward to sharing outfits I wear in the future with you. Would this be something you would like to see more of? Let me know in the comments below.

Love,
Sarah

Ruby Woo Lipstick by M.A.C

I've had so many of you girls asking me what lipstick I'm wearing in my latest video. Well as the title would suggest it's Ruby Woo by M.A.C.

You got me thinking about how much I really feckin love this lippy! It was my first ever M.A.C lipstick purchased in November 2011. I only have a very small collection of their lipsticks and Ruby Woo is the one I wear the most for sure. I have a great relationship with this lipstick. It gives me a certain confidence no other beauty product has given me before.

When I was in school I had a teacher who wore a red two piece suit every now and again. She later told our class that the red two piece suit gave her a sense of power and confidence. That's how I feel about this lipstick. I wore it to the blog awards last year and on many nights out. It's so matte that I don't have to worry about it sliding off and with the Artdeco Magic Fix it lasts all night.

What's your favourite lipstick and does wearing it make you feel different or am I just mad?!

WIN! Beyonce Pulse Gift Set *International*

Beyonce Pulse NYC Eau de Parfum 50ml €37 30ml €25.95

Back in February this year I was invited along to an event by Coty to check out the Spring/Summer 2013 fragrance collection. Pulse NYC by Beyonce was one of the fragrances talked about on the night. It is described as being an electric meeting of two style icons. Beyonce herself and New York City.

On first spritz of Pulse NYC you will be enchanted with a fruity infusion of raspberry, pomegranate and pear followed by a floral blend of Peony, jasmine and orchid. You might think this would be a very sweet smelling scent but then you find the fragrance unwinds with a sensual cashmere musk, patchouli and for the first time ever a scent that has captured the aroma of red velvet cupcake.

The bottle itself captures your attention with the clear perfume being displayed in a faceted, transparent crystal shaped bottle inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City. The silver and electric blue metallic cap is inspired by Beyonce's stage costumes.

Beyonce Pulse set contains Luminous body milk, Beyonce Pulse eau de parfum 30ml and luminous shower cream.

It's nearly time to say "Goodbye 2013" and "Hello 2014" but before I ring in the new year I wanted to say thank you for all your support this year. It's been exciting and fun with lots of new memories and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Irish Bloggers Secret Santa reveal 2013

Hello Adoreabuddies,

This year I took part in the #IrishbbloggersSS which was organised by the wonderful Aisling from Total Make Up Addict. Aisling thought it would be a fun idea for any bloggers interested to get together to do a Secret Santa. And she was oh so right! My family have been doing Secret Santa for the last four years now and it's great fun and relives a lot of stress because you're only shopping for one person. Now the only problem I've had since we started is every year I've had my mam or my dad and I would love to have one of my brothers at some stage because there's only so many handbags and power tools you can buy a person!

When I found out who I had I was over the moon, I was excited to find out I had one of my favourite bloggers so it was going to be even more fun deciding what to get them compared to not knowing the person at all and being lost for idea. As part of the Secret Santa all who took part are to post a blog on this day (22/12/13) about who we had and what we got. I had Kat from Dollyrouge so you can check out their blog to see what I got her.

The person who had me was Alex from Pinkelephantbloggin.com. When the parcel came through the door I was so excited to rip it open to find out who had me! I took to twitter to make sure it was okay and also thought maybe I should wait until Christmas day to open it because my family do SS it might be nicer to wait and open it. Then I remembered about having to do this post so I opened it straight away! The lovely ribbon was tossed to the floor. The luxurious wrapping paper was sent flying into the air and I was left at my kitchen table making all sorts of oohing and aah sounds!

The lovely Alex sent me a candy cane, a pair of smartphone gloves from H&M, a gorgeous necklace from H&M, a lip cream from Sleek in Rioja Red and a delightful note book that I will save for the new year for to-do lists. Alex also wrote a lovely card saying how she looked up my blog to find out what I would like which is a nice touch because I really love everything she sent me.

I must say a big thank you to Aisling for organising the Secret Santa, she put in a lot of time and effort and she has brought a smile to my face and a lot of other bloggers too. Thank you to Alex for sending me such lovely treats make sure you check out her blog.

I'm off to Dublin now to finish off the last of the Christmas shopping so enjoy the rest of your weekend everybody and if you took part in the Secret Santa be sure to leave a link to your post in the comments below.

Love,
Sarah

The NIMA Mitt - Removes make-up with just water - Giveaway *International*

Nima Mitt €12.95

Hello Adorea-buddies,

The Nima Mitt is an eco friendly make-up remover that removes all traces of make-up using just water. Hold on, lets just take that in for one moment. Just water!! I remember the first time I heard about the Nima mitt. I had been using two different types of make-up remover solutions at the time and thought, yea right. I'll believe that when I see it!

Well girls, not only did I get to see it working in action but I also had Niamh Martin, the owner of NIMA show me just how to use it.

She removed my make-up within moments by applying a little bit of water to the soft pink mitt and using both sides removed all traces of make-up on my face. I think the Nima Mitt is the perfect item to pack when I'm staying away from home. So much easier to pack compared to cotton pads, make-up removers and as advertised it's eco-friendly. When finished all you have to do is wash it with a bar of soap and leave it to dry, ready for use the following day.

Treat yourself and support Irish this Christmas. You can order and find out more about the Nima mitt on her website www.nimabrush.com. I've also done a video review on Nima Brushes which you can watch HERE.

Niamh has been kind enough to let me have a giveaway for you. To enter follow the steps below.

1. Like Adoreabubbles facebook page HERE

Penneys Haul - Snug As A Bug

Snug Herringbone Pillow €6 - Cream Deer Pajamas €8 - J'Adore Double Bed set €17 - Two Pack Pillow cases €4 - Double Fitted bed sheet €8 - LED lights €3

Hi All,

Just a quick post on some recent items I purchased from Penneys. With the weather being so baltic outside at the moment I find it harder than ever to get out of bed in the mornings and counting down the hours until I will see my bed again when I'm in work. There's just something about cold weather that makes me want to be snug as a bug and cosy up with my jammies on!

Penneys have some really nice affordable bed sets and I couldn't leave without getting this J'Adore bed set. The print is utter girlyness with perfume bottles, pearl necklaces, heart shaped lock and keys, pretty flowers and romantic writing. I also love the Snug herringbone pillow and thought I'd get into the Christmas spirit with some fairy lights!

Penneys also have some really nice comfy Pj's in at the moment. I have to be honest and say I spend most of December in Pj's because I'm saving for presents I tend to stay in a lot more and snuggle up so Cosy jammies are a must. The cream deer set caught my attention with polka dots, festive deers and super soft material to keep me warm.

Stay snug this winter everyone. Tell me your favourite way to stay snug in the comments below.

Love,
Sarah
