€20 MAKE-UP CHALLENGE - S/S'14 TRENDS - COLLABORATION WITH BEXTACYBEAUTY

I had lots of fun doing a collaboration with Beauty Guru BextacyBeauty over on YouTube. We decided to do the €20 make-up challenge following current Spring/Summer make-up trends. The purpose of the challenge is to complete a full face of make up using products with the combined total of €20. For the main theme of our looks we went with S/S '14 trends. Word on the street is that blues, purples and golds are all in this season. Bold brows, winged liner and coral lips are also in.

I decided to go with the blue trend and used the On Cloud Nine trio palette by Wet n Wild to achieve the look below. I was also able to use this palette to fill in my brows which was an added bonus.

Products I used:
NYC Skin Matching Luminizer foundation in Fair €4.49
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in Sunny (????)
NYC Creme stick blush in Big Apple Blush €3.49
NYC High Definition separating mascara €2.99
Wet n Wild Trio Eyeshadow palette on On Cloud Nine €4.49
Essence Colur & Shine eyeshadow in Simply Me €1.00
Essence Ballerina Backstage Lipgloss in On Your Gracile Tiptoe €1.99

Iv'e left the prices above for you and the total is €18.45. You might notice I have no price for the Bronzer, for the love of god I can't find the price anywhere! So in total I say I just went over the €20 mark but I'm still delighted with the look I achieved. I've never played with light blues like this before because I just love my purples and browns. I really liked how the look turned out.

Check out Beckys look below. Becky did a stunning purple eye look using some fabulously affordable products. I think the UK market as more to offer in the way of make-up products compared to Ireland. After watching her video I'm thinking of flying over just to save on make-up haha!

Thank you for stopping by and as always thank you for your support. Be sure to check out our collaboration looks and subscribe if you haven't already.

Love,
Sarah

WIN! Beyonce Pulse Gift Set *International*

Beyonce Pulse NYC Eau de Parfum 50ml €37 30ml €25.95

Back in February this year I was invited along to an event by Coty to check out the Spring/Summer 2013 fragrance collection. Pulse NYC by Beyonce was one of the fragrances talked about on the night. It is described as being an electric meeting of two style icons. Beyonce herself and New York City.

On first spritz of Pulse NYC you will be enchanted with a fruity infusion of raspberry, pomegranate and pear followed by a floral blend of Peony, jasmine and orchid. You might think this would be a very sweet smelling scent but then you find the fragrance unwinds with a sensual cashmere musk, patchouli and for the first time ever a scent that has captured the aroma of red velvet cupcake.

The bottle itself captures your attention with the clear perfume being displayed in a faceted, transparent crystal shaped bottle inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City. The silver and electric blue metallic cap is inspired by Beyonce's stage costumes.

Beyonce Pulse set contains Luminous body milk, Beyonce Pulse eau de parfum 30ml and luminous shower cream.

It's nearly time to say "Goodbye 2013" and "Hello 2014" but before I ring in the new year I wanted to say thank you for all your support this year. It's been exciting and fun with lots of new memories and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Expert Last Lip Color by NYC - Review & Swatches

From Left to Right
438 Candy Rush, 411 Snow cone, 443 Purple Crush, 405 Blue rose, 404 Air kiss

From Left to Right
440 Creamy Caramel, 418 Sugar plum, 402 Red flame, 441 Traffic jam, 432 Red Rapture

I'm a bit slow off the mark with these beauties ladies. I have been meaning to review them for quite some time. Bare with me over the next few weeks as I play catch up to the reviews I've been meaning to do but have not been able to get around to doing them until now.

Today I have the NYC Expert Last Lipstick collection. They cost a very affordable "in your face" expensive brands....€2.49 and come in a range of shades. I have swatches above of ten out of fifteen shades in the collection and I'd love to know which ones are your favourite in the comments below.

I have to say I am loving Blue rose, Air kiss and Red rapture. These are the colours I usually gravitate towards when buying lippy products for myself. They glide on nicely and feel creamy upon application. No matte drying sensation with these beauties. I'm not too fond of the sheer shades such as Candy rush, Snow cone and Sugar plum. They are just too sheer for me. They might be more suited for teens or someone who is looking for just a smidge of colour.

The darker shades have great staining power which I like as it means less time re-applying and more time smiling! They claim to last up to 5-6 hours and with the right application you will get this from the darker shades.

I often get asked what certain products smell like, what are ya like aye! Well I can't quite put my finger on the scent but they do smell nice and not the usual smell you would associate with make-up at such a low price. Well worth the buy in my opinion.

Love,
Sarah
