Love Irish, Buy Irish this Christmas

I'm excited to announce that this week I will be launching a Christmas series on my blog. I'm doing this series because I want to encourage you to support Irish businesses this Christmas. I also want to help you find unique Christmas gifts for your family and friends.

Every day for two weeks I will be posting about an Irish business that sells unique items which I think will be great gifts for your loved ones. From grandparents to work colleagues I've got you covered, there will be no excuse for socks or gift vouchers this year!

Most of the country have been worrying about this holiday for weeks now and we are all trying to save like mad. Even on the smallest of budgets I like to make gifts as personal as possible. Noting gets my goat more than gift vouchers or Boots 3 for 2 gift sets. They are well appreciated but defeat the purpose of gift giving for me.

When I am giving someone a gift I want it to say "Thank you for being the best friend anyone could ask for", "You mean so much to me", "I Love you".

Every year I write a list of people I want to get gifts for. Then beside their names I make a note of what their interests are or if I've heard them mention something during the year that they would like. This makes shopping so much easier. I also think it's a good idea to set a budget for each person, you won't spend the same amount of money on the postman than you would on your partner. Or would you? *raises eyebrows*.

If there is anything you would like to see in this series please let me know in the comments below.

Lot's of  Love,
Sarah
