About Me

Welcome and thank you for visiting my blog. I've made this "about me" section because I want you to know who I am, where I'm from and how I got involved in all this blogging malarkey.

I was born in Co Dublin, Ireland and spent the first six years of my life there until my family decided to uproot to the country. The "dub" became a cultchie and I spent the rest of my childhood and teenage years in Co Meath.

I have three wonderful brothers who I consider to be my best friends. There isn't much of an age gap between us so we all get on really well. The best thing about the four of us is that we are all in some way shape or form like our parents. I honestly have the most supportive, loving, craziest parents out there! I get my sense of humour and mad side from my dad and I'm the spitting image of my mam, thank god!

Growing up I knew I wanted to work with children. I absolutely loved arts and crafts and doing fun activities and thought it would be really fulfilling to be a primary school teacher. To make a long story short, I didn't do too well in the leaving cert, studied over in the UK, studied again back in Ireland and finally found my dream job as a Montessori teacher.
I'm currently working in a pre-school in Co Meath teaching children up to the age of five. My favourite aspect of the job is that every single day is different and there's noting better than seeing the look of pure amazement on a childs face when they learn more about the world around them.

I started making Youtube videos back in 2011 during my studies as a hobby. I enjoyed it so much because it gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world with the same interests as myself. Shortly afterwards I discovered the world of blogging and knew it would be something fun to start doing and once I get an idea into my head there is no stopping me. Two years on and I'm still going, I honestly can't remember what I did in the evenings before "Adoreabubbles" was created! I know it wasn't half as fun anyway.

There is a lot of speculation as to why certain people blog, particularly beauty bloggers. I don't blog for free products, I blog to share my views and opinions on the things that I love. I don't do it to gain attention I do it because it makes me smile and I want to make other people smile too. I don't blog for money because I'd be homeless if that was the case! I just plain and simply love it. I love the interaction on social media websites such as Twitter and Instagram and my ever growing addiction to Facebook. I've met some pretty amazing people since I started, organised blogger events and travelled to London for IMATS. It's been a real blast and I plan on continuing for a very long time.

I hope you stick a around and don't be shy, if there's anything else you would like to know comment below and you can always find me on twitter

Love,
Sarah
