Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Polish Review & Giveaway

Check out my review over on YouTube or watch below.

Revlon describe this range of scented nail enamels to have intoxicating colours with irresistible scents. While I can agree with them on the colours, they are truly gorgeous. I have been left scratching my head over the whole scented nail polish business. Why? Why would you want your nails to be scented? Each shade has a different fragrance but they don't last very long. Maybe eight hours at most after applying and leaving to dry.

After shampoos, body lotions, hand creams and perfumes I would be very surprised if anyone picked up on any scent at all from my nails! Alas the range is broken down into three categories of fruits and florals, sweets and spices and fresh scents.

There are twenty four shades over in the states with twenty of them available in Ireland on the Boots.ie website.I picked up the following shades in a boots store, they only had these three on display. Surf Spray, China Flower and African Tea Rose all cost €8.99.

The colour pay out of these polishes is AMAZING! I was so focused on the scent of these polishes when I first purchased them that when I applied them I was smiling with glee at how vibrant they turned out to be. Perfect for summer, especially African Tea Rose.

At first I found the ball shaped cap tricky to grasp comfortably while applying the polish but after a few nails I got the hack of it. The brush is actually much shorter than other Revlon polishes which is nice as you are getting closer to the nail and can apply more precisely.

I must also mention the packaging, isn't it lush! It reminds me of vintage perfume bottles. I also like that they are square which will make them easier to stack beside each other on my nail polish rack, is that weird!? I wouldn't recommend purchasing these polishes for the scent factor but I would for the truly stunning colours. I'm also loving the look of Sunlit Grass which is a very yellow polish that looks so super pigmented. I haven't seen it in any of my local Boots yet but I want it! All my yellow polishes are really streaky and opaque.

What do you think of this range? Be sure to check out my video review to find out how you can win yourself a bottle of African Tea Rose.

Love,
Sarah
