Hello Girls, I hope everyone is well.
After a wonderful weekend I wanted to share my experience of making it to the finals of the Blog Awards with you. My YouTube channel was nominated in the best video blog category again this year.I had an absolute blast at the awards last year and this year was even better. Although I did not win in my category I was overjoyed to make it so far along side some very talented bloggers.
I got to share a table with Eimear Byrne, a very talented make up artist and YouTuber. I've followed Eimear since the beginning of her journey and have met her a few times at Blogger events. It really was one of the main highlights of my night getting to see her again. Check out her blog and follow her or else!
I was also chosen as one of the Glenisk recipe finalists for my Yorkshire pudding recipe and won a voucher on the night. Everyone on the night got to enjoy a delicious three course meal and an amazing dessert which was made using Glenisk products. A perfect way to end the night with a perfect serving of deliciousness!
It was a really exciting night and it gave me a chance to sit back, relax and reflect on all that I have achieved. I'm so thankful for all the lovely messages and tweets I received offering well wishes on the night.
On the night I was wearing Cocoa Brown tan, my dress is from Pamela Scott and I wore Ruby Woo by MAC on my lips. I felt a million dollars and will enjoy wearing my dress to Tesco to make sure I get good wear from it, only joking! I've also had my hair done over the weekend. I was not entirely happy with the blonde and wanted a change so I got a dark brown colour put in and a long edgy bob cut.
I also want to mention the Moate House Accomadation where myself and my partner stayed at the weekend. I left it too late to book into the Osprey Hotel but I think now it was a good thing otherwise we wouldn't have discovered this gem. It really is a fabulous, warm and welcoming B&B. Mary, the lady who runs the Moate House was so nice and let me tell you she makes THE best breakfast. Another highlight of our weekend actually! If you are ever looking for a place to stay in Naas I would highly recommend staying here. Home made bread and jams, fresh eggs from her own back garden and an indoor pool, what's not to love?!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend,
Love,
Sarah
