O.P.I Halloween 2013 collection - Rock Goddess

If you are a nail varnish fiend like myself you will or must have at least one bottle of O.P.I in your collection. It's a luxurious brand with an expensive price tag but I can't help falling over their collections. In the very near future O.P.I are launching a host of new products including limited edition polishes, a range of textured polishes and moisturisers.

This Halloween O.P.I are launching a line of really nice Autumn shades. The collection is limited edition and consists of four minis called Rock Goddess. It contains three vibrant shades. A sunny yellow called Yellopalooza, a green Stand in lime for days and a scarlet The drummer is hot. The dark shade is called Rolling bones and will give a dark edge to any nail look. The set also comes with a skull bracelet which is adjustable.

What do you think? Do you like the look of this collection? Me likey, especially The Drummer is hot. That looks like the perfect red to vamp up any costume for Halloween or paint the town red on nights out!

Love,
Sarah

Halloween Special effects make-up and Spooky treats by Adoreabubbles

Holidays are coming, holidays are coming! Oh wait a second! I mean Halloween! Halloween is only around the corner and I thought I would share some of my freaky special effects tutorials with you and also some tasty spooky treats you can make with or for family and friends.

Sewn shut mouth tutorial can be watched HERE <-----

Missing eye tutorial can be watched HERE <------

I also made some yummy, spooky halloween treats last year that I think you would love!

A blog post on how to make these Witches severed fingers can be found on my blog HERE. You can also watch my youtube video and see what other tasty treats you can make for halloween HERE.

I'd love to do some more looks this year but I just won't have the time before halloween to make videos so you will have to do with last years madness for now. On a positive note I have bought myself a Canon 650D, a home studio lighting kit and plan to start making videos all the time again like I did a year ago. I'm very excited about it and hope I haven't lost everyone since I've been MIA!

Happy haunting,
Sarah

LUSH Halloween Pumpkin Bubble Bar

I for one cannot believe it's Halloween time already girls. This year has just flown by. I was preparing to do my LUSH Christmas collection video today when I stopped and thought you might curse me for mentioning it so soon. As a compromise here's a little Halloween post on their Pumpkin bubble bar with is available in shops now and costs €3.50.

Isn't he just the cutest! Look at his little dairy free chocolate drop eyes and his liquorice hat. There sure isn't anything scary about this guy but I love him. I really enjoyed using this bath bomb this evening. The ylang ylang oil and orange flower absolute really awakened my senses and left me feeling refreshed.

I'm really happy with the bubble pay out also!! I never thought I would say that about bubbles but hey check out the name of the blog and then it won't sound so mad! Lots of bubbles and I only used a quarter of the bar. For €3.50 I say this is great value as you would get a good four big bubbly baths out of it. He doesn't look so cute after the first use though!

LUSH also have a Soot bath bomb (€3.25) coming out this Halloween, inspired by the soot gremlins from Hayao Miyazaki's film Spirited Away and a Lord of Misrule bath bomb (€4.35) named after the Pagan Feast of Fools. Check them out on-line at www.lush.com or in store now.

Happy Haunting ladies....or just stay in and have a bath!!

Love,
Sarah
