Oxygen Mask By DermaSel Maskerade

I mentioned on YouTube recently that my lovely friends Sarah & Katie gave me a few bits and bobs when I was last able to leave the house to visit them haha (exam stress had me locked up quite a bit over the last 6 months!) This is one of the things they gave me. An Oxygen Mask that claims to Revive and rejuvenate your skin.

The product description also claims to thwart signs of premature aging, stimulates the skins metabolic functions, increases its oxygen uptake and visably improves the skin elasticity.

I'm not really interested in all that mumbo Jumbo! As I say it was a gift so i was looking forward to trying it out and I was hoping for my skin to feel soft like a babies bum afterwards! I was expecting a sticky consistency to the product as I thought it was a mask you apply, leave it to set and then remove but I was wrong. The Product was really light a runny (is that a word!) I applied it onto my face as advised and left it for ten minutes. I actually had time for a bath so i just relaxed and let the mask do its magic! I felt like i had applied Oil of olay on my face, it did feel like I was applying too much moisturiser to my face and then removing it all off then minutes later!. There was plenty of product left over and it said use the remaining product into the skin like a facial cream.

I probably won't buy this product myself. My skin did feel nice afterwards but noting a bit of facial moisturiser couldn't achieve in just a few seconds, I say if you have time to do it regularly it would be more enjoyable.

Poptastic Eye Palette by Collection 2000 - swatches

I seen this palette in Superdrug for around €6 and was completely sucked in by the bright colours! I wasn't expecting amazing results with it so i'm not too bummed out that most of the shadows are non existent unless i swirl my finger into them a fair few times! The green on the first and third row are the only two shadows that have any real lasting effect for me. The description on the back of the packaging says "nine bright eye shadows for a vivacious vixen look. last up to eight hours" I haven't tested it out for any longer than 5 minutes but considering they wiped clean off my arm and fingers with tissue paper I cant see them lasting any longer than one step out the front door into our lovely Irish weather!

Latest Boots Buys!

I went into boots looking for some Conditioner and seen these babies, Aussie Limited Edition Miracle Moist Shampoo & Aussies Lusciously Light Miracle moist Conditioner.

The Conditioner was €4.49 for 250ml. I love Aussies Conditioners and Boots are doing an offer at the moment, two Aussie products for €7.50 so I saved €1.48 when I bought the 300ml Shampoo too. I've been using them for the last three days every morning so lets just get down to business!

I am disappointed with the Shampoo,  It didn't have that bubbly lather when I applied it, you know what I'm on about...have you seen those adverts where the woman is getting a little bit too excited in the shower over washing her hair haha! And when I rinsed it out it left my hair feeling like straw (which reminded me of when I had my hair bleached blonde a few years ago, it wasn't pretty and took years to brush afterwards!).

Then the conditioner was equally as disappointing! I much preferred the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner! Even though my hair was left feeling soft after I blow dried it I did miss the feeling when you rinse your conditioner out and your hair feels like silk, this left me feeling like i had conditioned my hair with fairy liquid (Yes I admit I did that once, long story...student days!). I had no hair products in my hair before washing it and I got the same results over the last three days So i'm not sure why they had this effect with my hair, I will continue to use them because i paid for them and they clean my hair but I don't think I'll be rushing back to buy them anytime soon, even it the shampoo is limited edition!!!

The other product I bought from boots which i'm thrilled about is the Vaseline Lip therapy in Cocoa butter, I heard they brought this out ages ago and have been keeping an eye out for it! It cost me €1.89.

I have to admit I'm a bit of a lip balm freak! I tend to wear it most days rather than lippy or gloss unless I'm out out for fancy occasions!! Over the last few months I've been addicted to Lipsmacker in Fanta flavour from Penneys which cost €1.95. Iv'e been trying out the Cocoa Butter for the last three days and its already been bumped onto my "running out the door checklist"

Checklist
Phone
money
keys
glasses
Cocoa butter

First of all the scent is lovely and it instantly makes my lips feel nice and smooth. I have also been using it on my nail cuticles and it works a treat! At the moment i'm doing skills demonstrations as part of my course which means no bling no nail varnish no make-up and no personality! its a pain but i'll be finished next week. Anyway with a clear coat of polish and this cocoa butter Vaseline on my cuticles to moisten them they look nice and healthy!

€1.89 for 20g

€1.95 for 4g
Have you used any of these products? What did you think of them?

Lots of love
Sarah xxx
